I’m excited to start farming! But first, I need to finish buying the property and that transaction is not as clean as it could be. Oh, and my wife will likely have a baby next week, that will probably cause some delay. And we have no equipment for farming (I don’t even own a shovel… and I’m not going to buy one until I have finished buying the property). And I teach a 90% load at the college, so I have classes to prepare for. And I have four kids that were already born that need attention.
On the one hand, I love it. I can feel how the desire to get to do what I really want to has made me more productive in other realms. I can also see that I’ve got a lot to do and unfortunately this blog is relatively low on the priority list.
I took a couple of pictures yesterday, and I will take a few more before I post them. Once I’m doing things in the garden, I will have time to think about writing and typing it into this blog will just be a technicality (a time consuming technicality, but I’m an optimist). I apologize for being sporadic, but I will be more consistent once things settle a bit.
